Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the ClipPay website and application at clippay-aq4.pages.dev and related APIs. It works together with our Terms of Service.

Account and profile

Name, email address, role (brand, clipper, or admin), password (stored as a secure hash), and optional profile details you provide.

Campaign and earnings data

Campaign settings, clip URLs, platform identifiers, view counts, payout and commission records, disputes, and ratings needed to operate the marketplace.

Connected social accounts

When you connect YouTube, TikTok, or similar services, we receive OAuth tokens and profile identifiers (such as channel or open ID, display name, and avatar URL) required to verify ownership and sync public performance metrics. We encrypt access and refresh tokens at rest.

Technical data

IP address, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs used for security, rate limiting, and reliability. We do not sell personal data.

• Provide accounts, campaigns, submissions, and payouts.
• Verify clip ownership and synchronize view counts from connected platforms.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Send transactional notifications related to your account activity.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We share data with service providers that help us run ClipPay (for example hosting, databases, email, and payment partners), only as needed to provide the service. Brands and clippers may see limited information about each other as required for campaigns (for example clip links and performance on a campaign you join or own).

Social platforms (Google/YouTube, TikTok, etc.) process data under their own policies when you authorize ClipPay. We do not control those services.

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and dispute resolution. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and removed or revoked when you disconnect an account or delete your ClipPay account, subject to backup and audit retention windows.

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit where configured, encrypted tokens at rest, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

• Update profile information in Settings.
• Connect or disconnect social accounts at any time.
• Request account deletion through the product or support channels.
• Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.

ClipPay is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised date. Material changes may be highlighted in the product where appropriate. For privacy questions, contact us through the support channels published on the ClipPay website.
